Combining electronic programming and live instrumentation, the sound is a hybrid of upbeat-offbeat pop and industrial funk. Every word and phrase of the album's lyrics appear in The Mueller Report. The text was selected to bring fresh attention to this document and to expose its inherent drama. Recently, he scored a feature documentary called Mediha, executive produced by Emma Thompson and directed by Hasan Oswald, which won the SIMA 2025 Ethos Jury Prize and Best Documentary Award. Mediha, winner of 13 Grand Jury Prizes on the festival circuit, was the Opening Night Feature at the 2024 United Nations Human Rights Watch Film Festival and at the 2024 Pordenone Docs Fest. Write ups and reviews have appeared in The Guardian, Vogue, Deadline, The Hollywood Reporter, and elsewhere. The film made its theatrical debut in 2024 at Film Forum in NYC, at the Laemmle Royal in LA, and began its UK theatrical release on November 5th, 2024. In addition to scoring for film, Bloomfield collaborated with Baz Luhrmann on a Moulin Rouge! The Musical promotional track, had a feature written in Billboard about his Mueller Report concept album, and created a continuously sequenced visual album in Cape Town, They Say It’s Wonderful, that combines a musical reimagination of Golden Age Broadway with an original, electro-symphonic score. While living outside the states, Bloomfield became the first western artist to have his or her music and music videos distributed by CJ ENM, one of South Korea’s largest K-Pop and entertainment companies, and has performed in bands opening up on tour for Kendrick Lamar, Machine Gun Kelly, Chance the Rapper, G-Eazy, and Third Eye Blind. In the commercial space, Henry has created music for brands such as McDonald’s x Krispy Kreme (featuring VO by Brian Cox), AT&T, NBA x Evernorth, and was hired by Sarah Callahan Zusi to compose for a pro-choice Virginia ad. Currently living in New York City, Henry graduated from Oberlin College with a B.A. in English, studied Jazz Theory at Oberlin Conservatory, and was a Contemporary Writing and Production major at Berklee College of Music. He recently finished an Argentinian feature documentary called The Stolen, directed by Brian Pearle, about the “disappeared” children from the Dirty War era. It premiered at Big Sky Film Festival on February 19, 2025. At the moment, Henry is scoring another feature documentary called Darkest Light, directed by Simon Mendes, about Rabbi Shlomo Carlebach, the “singing Rabbi,” and had two compositions placed in upcoming feature Miami Nights, starring Terrence Howard and Jeremy Piven.
